Herriman City Councilman Mike Day has an update on the MVC

Construction is moving forward – Construction crews will begin utility and roadway work on Mountain View Corridor in early August 2010. Initial construction will be south of 12600 South. See below for specific construction activities.

12600 South: Construction will begin on 12600 South August 16, 2010*. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction between Legacy Ranch Boulevard and Herriman City Main Street. These restrictions will be in place on August 16th and 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.

13400 South: Construction will begin on 13400 South on August 16, 2010*. Lane restrictions and flagging operations will be in place between Bangerter Highway and Monarch Meadows Parkway. These restrictions will be in place for approximately three weeks.

Construction on 13400 South and 12600 South will be phased to ensure travel lane restrictions on each street will not happen simultaneously. Please use caution in the area and obey posted speed limits. *Dates subject to change due to weather or equipment related issues.
