  Pack your tents and sleeping bags for the 5th Annual Daybreak campout. This year go for an Amazing Race style backpack adventure to compete for prizes. Or just join us for BBQ, rock climbing, kids crafts, and a movie at base camp. Cost is $10 per family, plus an optional dinner ticket. . The campout is being held at Hillside park (just east of the Daybreak Pavilion *Glass House*)this Friday, August 20th @ 6pm to 11am the next morning. |

Herriman City Councilman Mike Day has an update on the MVC . Construction is moving forward – Construction crews will begin utility and roadway work on Mountain View Corridor in early August 2010.   The new Sherwin Williams paint store that is opening up by Daybreak. I thought some of the Daybreak residents might want to know about it. It is located at 3371 West 10400 South Unit #103. It's in the same parking lot as Mountain Mike's Pizza. They are opening our doors on August 2nd, and are having a 40%off paint sale on August 7th. 7-11 Mini Mart coming to SoDa RoW? |

Yep that is right, I have heard from 3 sources now that a 7-11 Mini Mart might be coming to SoDa Row. And it would be just a Mini Mart (not a gas station). I am in between on this one; I can see how a 7-11 could drive traffic to SoDa RoW which would help bring more business to the other merchants in SoDa RoW. On the hand, I am not sure we want that much or that type of traffic in SoDa RoW….humm.

What? A fancy dinner and dance in Daybreak? . Yep, that's right. Barring any changes, on November 6th we will be having an adult's only evening of elegance in one of the empty spaces at Soda Row. We will have a dinner, some entertainment, and a dance, along with a silent auction from local businesses that will benefit the Daybreak to DebreZeit project (*read more below if you don't know what that is). . So....Raquel Lubbers, who is the Chair (volunteer), needs YOUR help! Â She is having an impossible time of getting committee volunteers to help make events happen.
