I just moved in and looking for some fellow fliers. I'm into electric park fliers.

Hey Davix...I've been flying RC Sailplanes off and on (on now) for 20+ years. I live on Pine Canyon just across from what used to be called Central Park. I fly Discus launch gliders, and on occasion small park fliers at Central Park. The other thing that's fun about Daybreak is that there are 2 slope soaring sites when the wind is from the South. I fly a Weasel glider just East of the visitors center above hillside park and also just above the dog park. I'm on channel 56. Of course, you can't beat Point of the Mountain for the big, fast heavy stuff.

That's fantastic! I've been trying to get into sloping, so I built a motorless Stryker and tried sloping it in a gentle breeze at the elementary school park (is that Central Park). I didn't have much luck, but I think with a stronger wind it would actually work, although the glide ratio is not that great.
