Eastlake Elementary School

Raffle drawing for fabulous prizes!

Eastlake Elementary PTA is proud to host Dragon Days during the first half of September, culminating in an exciting family Pep Rally Raffle Fundraiser on September 16th from 6-8 P.M. Students have and will continue to participate in spirit activities, including drawings for our newly designed tshirts won by having kids encourage their parents to join the PTA, which is the largest child advocacy group in the nation!

At our Pep Rally on September 16, families will have the opportunity to show their support for all the important programs the PTA provides by purchasing spirit wear, raffle tickets for the chance to win amazing prizes, and tickets for games and activities for the kids. This will be the one and only time we ask for money for the PTA, and with everything from fieldtrips to spelling bees, to reflections contest and D.A.R.E., and so many other critical programs to fund, our goal is to raise $25 per student. We are thrilled to have donations from so many generous organizations and companies so that 100% of the raffle ticket price goes towards programs! And these are truly prizes worth winning: a Blendtec blender, tickets to the Shakespearean Festival during this fall season, Brad Paisley concert tickets, and over 100 more!

But the highlight of the evening, the climax, the moment we’ve all been waiting for – our mascot, Fireball the Dragon, will make his debut appearance!! It will be a night to remember, and all are welcome. Come join the fun!

For more information, please visit our blog at www.eastlakedragons.com .

Breathe FREE yoga event Saturday Sept 11th Print E-mail

Breathe a yoga studio was opened in September of 2009 by Monica Hambleton and Shandell Pino because of our love for yoga and all of its benefits.  We didn't like driving all over town for yoga so we decided to create our own little studio out here in Daybreak just minutes from both of our homes.  We want a gathering place for the community to celebrate peace, hope, and joy through the practice of yoga.  We hope you feel welcomed and love at our studio.  We are located in Black Diamond Sports Center upstairs check out our website for a schedule and pricing www.breatheyogaslc.com.

We are so excited to be celebrating our 1-year anniversary

To thank all of you for your support we are hosting a  FREE Yoga by the Lake on Saturday September 11th
