The schedule is set for the Herriman Mustangs inaugural football season (yes the High School being built west of Daybreak on 118th by the Sunstone neighborhood). This will be the first ever season for Herriman High School and its sports teams. Coach Larry Wilson says so much of the football team’s traditions will be shaped by this first year.

The season opener is August 20th against Hillcrest High School. Herriman will debut its state of the art football stadium equipped with a field that is the same kind used by the Dallas Cowboys in Cowboys Stadium.

If you live in the precinct running you need to try to have one representative from your home at this event. If you don't live in a running precinct you can still come and help campaign for the candidate you feel will help our district the most. Flyers should be coming home from every school.

As many of you already know, I have met with and talked to the team over atwww.oursouthvalley.com and have agreed to team up with them on bringing news and awareness to the residents not only in Daybreak, but the entire South Valley. Although both websites will still operate independently, we are working on a game plan to aggressively promote hyper-local media news that effects us ALL here in the South Valley, which as we all know rarely gets covered by the mainstream media.
